Obdo non vtec ecus can rev quite high. My current daily driver has a stock b2 bottom end with a y8 head wide band tuned with a pm6 ecu that activates vtec through the a/c relay. I can rev my mini me to 8k without any issues. I'm not saying go rev your motor as high as possible. I am simply saying that it is possible to rev that high with a obdo non vtec ecu without suffering engine damage. My lc1 tells me that the a/f ratio stays pretty much the same from 7400 rpm to 8100 rpm. I wouldn't worry that much about it changing drastically on you. I have a ton of datalogs if you would like proof.

On a side note, I work closely with a ASM guy that is making a ng63 rom with additional rpm rows. NG63 will go to 9000 rpm. If you can wait a month or so I will send you a copy when it is finished up. There are IAT and ECT multipliers available now within the ng62 roms. PM me if you want more info.

For a 1.6L SOHC, 13's is quick, especially if it's NA and not a ton of weight reduction.

Hell, FWIW, my stang weighs in at ~3100 lbs (w/ driver) and I've been in the 13's forever, NA with the crappiest head Ford ever made. And again, that's not fast for a V8, but when you're dealing with one of the slowest production mustangs to ever roll out of a Ford factory, it's not that bad of an ET. Throw a 150 wet shot on there, and I've got an 11 second car.

ARE YOU SERIOUS? Bisi only runs what he sells.. As a matter of fact, My F22 block is an exact block that he still uses in his Insight. You need to get your facts strait before you post things about people that you know nothing about.

Whats funny is. I dont know anyone else in the Import industry that would be willing to pull their engine out and sell it to you... There are no secrets at all.

Thats why this is called "OneCamOnly" . For some its not about the price. Its about the pride in which they take in building a Single Cam motor that stomps on all others. Sure it might cost a little more money for someone to get what they want out of a Single Cam motor. But doing a swap is too easy.Step up!

Where D's are better then B's and F always comes before K
