im trying to figure out my wheel and tire setup, i am dumping a larger engine in my crx and im trying to increase the limit of adhesion on the front end instead of limiting the grip in the rear to give me fairly neutral handling. i was thinking of running 15x8s +25 to +30 with 225 50 15 goodyear pilots up front and 15x7 +38 to +40 with a 195 55 15 rear, same tire. im worried about wheel rate and scrub changes. (fender clearance is not a problem, metal likes me) the increase in scrub could cause me some torque steer problems, would a 15mm difference from stock give me trouble?

building up an f22 and i need to pick a tranny. not a giant fan of cable shift, but it will let me relocate the shifter if i want and the f series has an intermediate shaft to help with torque steer. i know there are lsd options for f compatible engines and there are custom gearsets and stock options as well.

on the other hand, my d series shifting linkage has some sweet bushings in it and feels fucking awesome and its easier to find parts. can i use a d series intermediate shaft with an f2d? im going with a torsen lsd so that should take care of some of the torque steer, would unequal driveshafts be a problem with a big nasty f?

im going for an unwise amount amount of power on 225s.

O.k. my blinkers and hazards don't work. Here is the story,

My front transmission mount bolt were broken so I decided to fix the problem. So, I got 2 jacks and jacked the car up a little and the engine/tranny up a little to line up the holes. After letting the car back down I started it up and NONE of the gauges were working. I know the speedo shouldn't be working because I didn't hook it back in to the tranny. But, clock, hazards, and blinkers don't work. Back lights do. The car has always blew hazard fuses and the blinkers wouldn't work if the hazard switch was pushed in.

So, I figure while jacking it up I tore a ground loose or something. I've checked the ground at the t-stat housing, right off the battery, and of course the valve cover to body ground. All good, and all fuses under dash and hood are good. I got the car in beater condition with a hack job y8 swap and the harness was pretty hacked. I've considered purchasing a new uncut harness but I'm afraid that wouldn't fix the problem.

So, any thoughts? Also is there any fuses that are hidden that might be blown that would effect that area?
