My buddy put an extension on his sensor, in his Jeep, and it made no difference. I might try it. I also found a company that makes an O2 simulator, specific for tacomas, but I'm not sure about that one either. I was just checking out Hytech's site and he reccomends a Renault cat. It's big bucks though.

A year or two back either Sport Compact or Import Tuner Magazine did a writeup on high flow cats. They put a Honda on the dyno and made some pulls with the stock cat, a straight through bypass and the Flowmaster as well as the Magnaflow high flow cats. The bottom line was, the stocker SUCKED but both the Flowmaster and Magnaflow only lost 1hp VS the straight through cheater pipe.
I know for a fact that if you are caught in California without a cat or are using one of the eGay cheater cats you will have your car impounded. Many other state are starting to follow suit and for 1hp I think it would be extremely dumb to take that chance.
I keep all of my magazines and over the weekend I'll look for the article.

Hey Koots!

Thanks for saving me all the time it would have taken to go through the hundred or so magazines I got stashed in the garage.
I could of sworn that they tested the Flowmaster as well. Oh well, at this age I'm lucky to remember what happened this morning!

Thanks Again Koots
