Check this vid I found a while back. I believe its a stock block d15b7 with the nippon racing stage 2 cam with the 75 shot zex kit on slicks. Pretty well dialed in car.

Enjoy

At the track

Sorry for the late reply bone. I used two y8 gaskets, just seperated them and put them together. Starting with the 2 center metal layers joined together. I have a pic somewhere. Ill try to post it up

btw when you going to finish that build?

Here you go bone. I made a 6 layer head gasket. I joined the two metal layers together than just followed by order adding every other layer back in.

Yea I believe thats the part number, I just asked the dealer for 2 d16y8 head gaskets. It was cheaper than the d16z6 head gaskets for some reason. Idk why it was like that there..lol

I had no problems with it, torqued down with the arp's

haha.. stop fighting with d15beast7.. you 2 get along..lol

Anyone here ran 12's on a stock block SOHC with just spray?????

ZEX style setup is near perfect, but having the right clutch helps as well.

With what I know now, seven years later, low 12's would not be a problem.

I have 11's
