Throttle and RPM related control. Pushbuttons for activating the system, sure, but not "idiot on demand" stuff.

Wouldn't you also need the tach signal?

I didn't specify, but I was classifying that as throttle activated.
I still prefer the push button. My last kit was zex, and it was cool except for launching. Nothing but spin from the takeoff. I ain't buying slicks for something I drive to the track.

Then learn to drive the car.
With a Gen 2 box, you can launch at 95% throttle and not be in the nitrous, then once hooked hit WOT and manage the wheelspin.
Nitrous on a FWD without slicks at the track is just plain stupid and a waste of money.
Like driving a BBC down the track on recapped snow tires. About as slow!

hmm, touchy subject.
What's wrong with being able to launch at full throttle and then when it's hooked, laying into the nitrous. Stock Corvette's hated me.
I guess no one has ever worried about their throttle getting stuck.

Haven't you seem the movies you need 2 push buttons. The buttons alone add 10 hp, 20 if they're on the shifter.

traction issues. on slicks it might not be a problem but street tires will die super quick. why would you want a button? full throttle is the only way to go. think about it. why would you use nitrous if you weren't in WOT anyways?
i use a zex dry kit that has the full throttle thing. it's easy as hell to install. the only electrical is for the switch. wire a 12v, ground, and tap into the middle wire of your tps.
