Since I got the day off today for the holiday TOMORROW

... I got my ass outside, nice and sunny today. One of the "rare" sunny days here in western Washington.
I painted the valve cover a few months ago, it's been a shelf-queen since then. Bead blasted & painted the intake manifold last weekend, and painted the cylinder head today.
Block pictured: My spare d15b2
Intake manifold: 99/2k D16Y8 - Modified; plugged air injection, welded on IAT sensor to runner #1 (Stock a6/z6 location). Duplicolor grey primer, aluminum, clear.
Head: D16Z6 - Rebuilt w/3 angle valve job by "Guest", aka Thomas. Duplicolor grey primer, aluminum, clear.
Valve Cover: D16Y8 (Unknown year). Black wrinkle paint
As seen here, the IAT sensor has been placed on the #1 runner
These last two pics are of the painted cylinder head, pics above are pre-paint. The d15 is now my mock-up/paint booth block
D16A6 bottom end should be getting some love in the next week or two. More specs/info will be supplied later. That is all for now
