James, how is the zc 3rd and 4th on street drive ability? Figured it would be normal since its coming from a stock transmission correct? or did you have a zc 3rd gear as 4th in your race car?

It's a small gain over the 1.900 stock but it helps out.Someone once said to me the 2nd gear is attached to the shaft and can't be removed...?

not possible, easier just to go 3.07 1st.

DOHC ZC 3/4 is fine on the street, a little tame for me though.

Still too tame.
I ran a 1.781 2nd, 1.346 3rd, 1.172 4th and 4.71 FD. 3rd was ok with the long 2nd, 4th was too short.
Either DOHC ZC 3-4-5 and an MFactory 4.9 FD or stock FD and MFactory close gear set. I use the close gear set in my car.

Right on! If I were to go cable trans again, it would surely be a zc with a FD. Otherwise, I would probaly go with a close gear set.
