Z6 transmission VS. other D-series tansmissions
wanted 2 get your opinion on transmission.. cause i have a z6 tranny rite now and its going out on me wanted 2 see if other trannys would be better suited for my setup...
turbo'd d16z6...

only thing I would do is change 4th gear and add LSD.

ZC 3rd gear, and VX 3rd as 4th would give you some awesome gearing for the track. Good luxk finding that 3rd though..But yea, z6 trans is the best.

not for a turbo/boosted/nitrous application.
Z6 with CRX 4th, go run 10 second ETs if you have the power.

IIRC JFK is running the zc & vx combo in his trans.I remember ordering it from him a couple years back.

Thats why this is called "OneCamOnly" . For some its not about the price. Its about the pride in which they take in building a Single Cam motor that stomps on all others. Sure it might cost a little more money for someone to get what they want out of a Single Cam motor. But doing a swap is too easy. Step up!

CRX .937 is a little better than 92+ .909.....
